A second confirmation of another spoiler mentioned in the comments of the spoiler a wee bit down the page...
According to the guy who's seen the reviewers'/media DVD and is giving out all the juicy stuff on the Sci-Fi boards, here's Gaeta's status in LYBD II:
Gaeta is on the land, he wakes up Baltar (who is under a pile of women) to tell him "Da Cylons are coming!"
This confirms what webeh saw on another board. Which means, that in all probability, Gaeta is planet-side with the cool kids.
