Summary:
“I don’t think you’re evil, or that you deserve to be shoved out an airlock for what you’ve done, but it doesn’t change the fact that you did it. And while others may forgive you, you can’t forgive yourself.”
Felix Gaeta can’t handle being himself anymore-not after what he did on New Caprica. He descends into the corrupt, unglamorous world of the sex trade on the Prometheus in the hopes of shedding all remnants of his old self. But a whore can’t shut himself off from the world entirely if he wants to eat, and the past has a way of catching up with people on the Prometheus… AU starting in Season 3.

lls_mutant and my awesome idea-bouncer-offer,
safenthecity, for all your input and insight. Thank you dear f’list for putting up with me kvetching about muses who wouldn’t play along with my plans sometimes (I’m looking at you, muse!Lee). And thank you to
nicole_anell for the great artwork!
I drew a lot of my inspiration for this fic from William Faulkner’s Sanctuary, which I love for its weaving a story of the underworld of Prohibition-era crime and prostitution with the underworld of Hades and Persephone. As an homage (and also because Faulkner is so quotable), the epigrams at the beginning of each chapter all come from the works of William Faulkner as well.
