Meant to post this earlier, but got distracted!
It's Week Four of....

Okay! This week is AU IMAGES WEEK. Our discussion question is:
What are some scenes with Felix you would have liked to have seen on your television screen that never happened?
Things to consider in your answer:
1. It can be something plausible in canon but that we just never got to see, like say Felix babysitting Hera, or the scene between Adama and Felix where Felix volunteered/was allowed to fix the CIC after New Caprica.
2. Or, it can be something totally AU - Felix waking up in a Cylon resurrection tank for instance. :P
3. It can be something before Felix's timeline - like his first day on Galactica.
4. Why you'd want to see these scenes?
Sorry for the delay! Here's mine:
1. Felix and Baltar working on the Cylon detector in S1.
Well, first reason is obvious - cause I 'ship them, ;) and we never got to see them working in the lab together, for some reason, after they made kind of a big deal about appointing Felix in "Water", acting like he was going to be in Baltar's way all the time in the lab, nosing around. But also, because I was always curious about what Felix would have noticed about the detector. Obviously, most people wouldn't be able to tell if Baltar's bullshit machine wasn't feasible, but Felix might have been able to. There could have been some really interesting tension building up there, with Baltar falling under significant pressure to finish the thing as the season progressed, and being really stumped by it and being afraid to admit it. And either Felix would know the truth because Baltar is commiserating with him in the lab, or else because he simply has eyes and enough science knowledge to see through Baltar's smoke and mirrors about it.
2. Felix and Dee's conversation after he reported the election fraud to Adama.
Felix is not dumb. He can be a little blind though. So I'd be curious to see their conversation and find out if Felix ever knew that Dee had tried to steal the election. If he had, what would they have said to each other? Would it have put a chill on their relationship just before he went down to New Caprica? And if so, how did they get to be friends again when he returned after the Exodus? *iz so curious*
