Dear Mr. Juliani,
Thank you for being a part of BSG. Much to our pleasure, Lt. Gaeta has acquired a first name and lived well beyond our initial expectations. We would also like to thank you for popping Felix's figurative cherry before the series ended. We spent the better part of four seasons pondering whether Gaeta practiced life-long chastity or was getting the kind of action that was just too vulgar to show on television. It would have been unfortunate for the series to end leaving this question unanswered.
On a serious note, we feel that your performance elevated a secondary character to an unforgettable one. Your consistent professionalism, whether you were onscreen in the foreground or in the background, has led Gaeta to become a fully formed human being. We've greatly enjoyed watching your character develop and were glad to see him receive an increasing amount of attention throughout the seasons. As life events took a toll on his psyche, Gaeta has changed from an idealistic optimist into a pragmatic cynic. It may not be the most cheerful journey to watch, but it is a realistic one. In this respect, we appreciate your performative candor. Thank you.
With BSG completed, we wish you the best with your future endeavours. Whether your next project is onstage or onscreen, we are sure that you will be great.
