German bands and music I listen to Part1: A to M

Jun 22, 2010 03:02

... because people in IRC asked me to put up a list. I should warn you though. There are A FRIGGIN' LOT of Youtube-links in it.

I'll cut it in half though. So you won't kill your internetbrowser just by klicking the lj-cut..

- ASP
They have songs in German and English. And even though wikipedia says "Neue Deutsche Härte" it's a little bit gothic as well.
Example-Songs:

- Avantasia
Metal.

And now one of my songs I personally put onto my "Fontaine/Tenenbaum" playlist!:

- Blind Guardian
Speed/Power Metal

- Corvus_Corax_(band)
Medieval music/metal - I don't listen to them frequently, but some songs are just <3
My favourite is this one I think...

- Die Apokalyptischen Reiter
Death/Trash/Heavy/Folk Metal. Again a mixture of German and English songs.

- Die Ärzte
Punk/Pop rock

- E Nomine
... hard to place actually. Just read the Wikipedia-page, I guess... |:

- Eisbrecher
Neue Deutsche Härte (a little bit like Rammstein) - actually the singer reminds me of Fontaine XD

- Groove Coverage
Euro-trance, they cover a lot of songs but... I still like listening to them.

Another one of my Fontaine/Tenenbaum favourites *coughs*:

- L'Âme Immortelle
Austrian (!) Gothic/Industrial Metal with English and German songs

- Megaherz
Neue Deutsche Härte. They changed their singer three times now. Old songs share their singer with Eisbrecher though.
1st singer:

2nd singer:

3rd singer:

So now that's the first part. The second will follow tomorrow, I hope.
