Gotta be honest, when I saw the previews for this one I was seriously wondering what they were thinking...but, as usual for this season, they surprised me.

The Ramble )

Hi Gaelic. First, let me apologize for not commenting on the last episode. I read and loved your Ramble but didn't have time to reply immediately and of course, forgot. :( But I did like the episode and loved seeing Dean in the sub. But that end scene - Dean fearing for Cas' existence, wow, that was powerful. But here we are in another episode and there is no mention of the boys putting up a sigil against angels. If they didn't do that, Casifer could pop in at any time. Oh writers.

Like you, I was wondering what the hell they had in mind for this episode. Honestly, I thought it was OK, but enjoyed some parts of it more than others. Who cannot love fan-boy Dean? His antics in the ring really had me laughing. I wonder if Jensen had to practice that a few times? At this point I'm really tired of the multiple CRDs. More people are selling their souls than ever before, apparently. I did love that the young wrestler reasoned out that it was a stupid idea and decided to die, if necessary, with his soul intact.

It was good to see Crowley back to his cunning self - a good match for Luci in that regard. Yes, I think he knew exactly what that double-crossing demon was up to. And I'm glad we now know that the various "hands of God" are one-shots only. Like you mentioned, Sam knows the spell to get into Magnus' warded bunker. But I think they need Crowley for an ingredient. So I see a partnership in the works.

Now we have a month hellatus. But I'm glad that you are taking a well-deserved vacation with your family! Do enjoy your down time and visits with friends too. I'll see you here when we return to new episodes.

Take care,
Irish

No apologies necessary, ever. As you can see, it took me weeks to reply to this and I nearly missed last week's episode all together! :)

Thank you for always reading and know that I love seeing you when you are able to comment. :)
