Seer's guild group meditation

Oct 19, 2004 22:51

Tonight I participated in the first ever, guild wide group meditation through ADF. We all sat and did the same meditation exercise at as close to the same moment as possible. Here are my results:
The visualization was of a foggy area with black stones underfoot, like a really harsh beach. The fog cleared a bit as I walked, and I came to the entrance of a wood. It was guarded by a long haired young man with bare chest and buff suede breeches. He carried a staff, but made no moves to stop me as I passed him and entered the foggy woods. Deeper in the woods, I saw a large crow or raven on a tree branch watching me. A moment later, the Morrighan appeared as a young woman with red dress and black hair and cloak. (Cliched, I know, but she did.) Her hair seemed to form and unform as a helmet with raven wings sloping down to cover her ears.
She was joined by a great red-haired man dressed as a king going to war. He had a fur cloak, a hammered steel chestplate and a spear, but a smile full of mischief made him not scary. I noticed some white bones scattered on the forest floor, as if I had interrupted a reading. He reached out with his spear and touched me over my heart, causing me to bleed a little. The Morrighan fell to her knees, and was surprised to hear the king laughing.
The second part of the ritual was a tarot reading for the ADF's 20th year. I got the following cards:
Past: Knight of Wands reversed- This means interrupted progress, a parting of the ways, a quarrel or disagreement.
Present: 6 Cups- a gift from the past, heredity, inheritance
Future: Strength- kinda self-explanitory.
Since all this took almost no time at all, I decided to do a reading for myself as well.
Past: 10 Wands- responsibilty becomes a burden, feeling martyred
Present: The Fool
Future: Queen of Pentacles- money, success, a strong woman, fulfillment
I also thought about the identity of the king from the vision. I think it was Ca-mog revealing himself to me again. Now, my research has identified the strong possibility that he was a river God, and in this I seemed to feel that the aspect of the river he represented was communication. Rivers were everything to early villages, food source, water, hygeine, transportation, a way of moving warriors to battle or defense, but also a means of sending news. So I can see why he'd contact me, I just need to find out the specifics. Hopefully without a bat upside the head.
