I've just stopped using them. I use LJ itself to host my photos and if I want to insert them on AO3 etc., I just link back to the LJ url.

As you can see, Photobucket and I worked out our differences!
Photobucket is like that bad boyfriend/ex who you are constantly
wrangling with! But you can see that the pics are showing up as
they should.
