Coming Up... The End of Summer

Summer is about over for me -- meaning I'm home
from the Condo and getting ready for classes.

"Coup de Foudre" is moving towards a climax -- or
at least a turning point. We'll see how things play
out with the Three Drama Queens!

I'm scheduled to give a presentation at the Popular
Culture conference again this fall in the Fan Fiction
panel. This year I'm writing on a little thing I call
"Trouble in the Fandom." Wank. Shipper Wars. Catfishing.
Feuds. You name it. I'll probably be asking for your
input, as I often do. I think it will be a wild ride.

One more thing -- I've been rereading "Queer Identities"
for the first time since I posted those chapters. It's
lot funnier than I remembered, even with all the drama!
Right now the boys are at Cardinal Lake. I loved writing
that section. Yeah, the lake and the cottage were real
and all the details -- except no beautiful boys fucking
in the hammock, alas! You can't have everything.
