I check in after a few days and find not one but two new chapters, wow, thanks!
Things are not looking good for Ron, and of course that makes me even more nervous. It seems like most of the past ten years have been spent in a fairly stable, happy , if somewhat nontraditional, partnership between Brian and Ron, at least from Ron's perspective.There is the worry that Ron doesn't seem to want to see that Brian must have changed and that seems more like the QT version of Ron than the ES Ron. Ron's health and a stuck in the past mentality doesn't bode well for my B/R ending preference. But it's not over till the fat lady sings.
It was good to see Gus living with Brian and Ron and that Ron has established a loving relationship with him. The Gus you have in this chapter sounds like a Brian Kinney son as well as looks like a cute kid. Nice characterization.
It was also nice to see mentioned the CA characters I hope we will hear more of. Diane and Dorian had a girl, Mia but didn't stay together if the Dorian and Peter fragment meant what I think it did. You also hinted that Gus, even though at first was impressed with Jimmy Hardy, has since picked up on what a self-absorbed ass he can be, smart kid.
