Why I've Been Off-Line!

After the week began with the 7-hour drive from Hell through
a blinding snowstorm, the week got better -- much better! --
when Mr. Dave surprised me with a getaway to an inn. Think
tiny town full of antique shops. Restored century home,
Western Reserve style. Roaring fireplace. Large tub with
whirlpool. Bouncy bed. Dinner at an Irish-style pub, where
I had my favorite -- bangers and mash.

In other words -- think "The Angel Stream" presents "Spring
Break"! I'm not kidding.

Now THAT is better than a poke in the eye with just about
anything!
