LOL! Gael probably calls it "annoying the writer!"

I guess one of the things - maybe the main thing - about Gael's fanfic is that I never stop believing in the characters. They always act consistently, within the individual stream. I never find myself shaking my head and thinking that the Brian in the particular stream being written would NEVER do/say/think that. (Knocking on wood!) And that is remarkable to me. I'm not saying I always LIKE what Gael has Brian thinking or doing, but I always believe it, if that makes sense.

And another thing I love about Gael's stories are the impecable continuity and attention to detail. All of those questions I'm wondering about? The thing is, I know that SHE already knows the answers to every one of them - and she knows how it will all play out. And the fact that Gael takes that kind of time and effort with her stories, and pays such attention to details, enhances the story she's telling and my enjoyment of it. I never find myself wondering, "how the fuck can THAT happen now, when this character said X or did Y five or six chapters ago?" Continuity issues make me crazy.

I get what you're saying. You believe it within the context of the stream. Brian's behavior isn't coming out of thin air...there's a reason for it which is why we can accept that it's happening.

Yes! She's VERY good with the continuity. I love that she always seems to know where she's going with all of this. I know that even if we can't see it...she's got it all under control.
