I just got a fantastic and much needed early christmas present from my mom in the form of a check. Yay!
On the opposite end of the spectrum, mom says that my mimi isn't doing so well. In the past year, she's found out she has both diabetes and a thyroid problem, and her management of those issues arent going so well. So that means that I'm definately going back home for Christmas (i wasn't sure I was before). I hope Gene will come with, but he has family too. It will suck not to spend any holidays with him this year.
And on a more frivolous note, we watched the Victoria's Secret fashion show on Tuesday night after my company Christmas party. And I had lost interest in VS over the past years (I was, strangely, a VS groupie in high school. I think I invented the genre). Their product line had started to suck, and my favorite models were replaced by the ever-so-annoying Giselle Bundchen. Yuk. But I must say that they're back. I'm very enamoured with Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio. Its time to go work out and grow 5 inches!
