So I've had a crappy weekend.
I've been sick and now Toby's flipping out on me for giving away the Vinnie Vegas shirts even though the band broke up.
He wants $5 for every shirt I gave away.
Yeah, the same guys are back together...but under a different name and doing a different style of music with none of the same songs we played. Different band? I think so.
Audioslave isn't Rage Against The Machine.
Velvet Revolver isn't Guns N Roses.
The Horizon isn't Vinnie Vegas.
They can't sell those shirts for anything now, it's ridiculous.
Blah.
Anyway. New project is looking better. Quite a few potential people for it. Hopefully everything will work out...I just want to have a band that I enjoy hanging out with. I didn't really have that with VV. Jake and Kyle were cool to talk to and hang with...but Adam and Toby's personalities just didn't mesh well with me. Not that I didn't like em...just not the kinda guys I would wanna spend 9 months out of a year on the road with.
I did find out that the name I wanted to use (Jet Jaguar) was already taken by some asshole who plays solo electronica music...and he's not just some dude...he's signed too, which blows.
Maybe I could just call it jetjaguar instead. No caps. No space.
