I heard many of those conversations too, the ones that went 'We should do this again - without the funeral thing". And I've been feeling conflicted by knowing Aveline didn't want to be mourned, too. But I've decided there's no way I can stop, and I felt so good after the service, I knew she was approving of that. Can't stop feeling sad, but we drank and danced and celebrated along with the sad, so I think she'll forgive us.
I'm glad whapping you upside head to provide lack-of-quiet helped. You're welcome. Of course, I didn't remember I'd done it til last night, when Megan actually told me all the things I'd done (pr at least, the ones she'd witnessed), but you are, nonetheless, welcome.
Um.
Apropos of which, what Megan didn't witness but is curious about (as am I), is the conversation you and I were having that apparently prompted me to drag you over to her and point out that she'd much rather snog you than the young lady we were talking about. Do feel free to drop me a line about that, I'm now dying to know :)
