I just walked into the house, threw all of the mail into a pile and walked to my computer to check for new email and general blog updates. I started to hear some music playing in the distance and I couldn't tell from where it came. It got louder and louder, and at first I though Jenn left some device of hers in the bedroom, or the neighbors were playing holiday tunes fairly loud. I looked out the window and saw a Verizon Fios truck with big branding that said, "Cocoa to Go Go."
I jumped outside and got some free cocoa and a handful of packets. They didn't ask me to sign my name up for anything, and they didn't give me any pamphlets. It was a friendly "here you go" gesture to keep me thinking about Verizon Fios. Now I know what happens during the day when I'm at work.
