The band was out at a bar, having a small celebration since they had finished the Mars recordings. Masa, Ren and Toshi had all decided to see who could get the most phone numbers within an hour’s time and were talking to all the girls and boys in the building. Gackt had excused himself for the restroom, leaving You and Chacha alone at a small table.
“Who?” You asked, sipping at his beer.
“Gakkun.”
You’s eyes instantly dropped to the top of the table. “Well, yeah, he’s my best friend.”
“That’s not what I mean and you know it.”
“How did you come to this conclusion then?”
“You’re pretty obvious.”
“I am?!”
Chacha laughed. “I knew it! You are so hopeless.”
“How am I obvious?” You muttered.
“Oh come on. You bring him lunch almost everyday when we’re working. If he ever mentions even in the passing that his back is bothering him or something is wrong, you’re behind him, giving him a massage. You blush whenever he hugs you or teases you about your good looks. And, what I think is really cute, is whenever we have a show or interview or something and he gets his make-up done, you always, always come up to him and adjust strands of his hair. It’s like, you always want to be the last one to touch him.”
“I just... if I’m so obvious, why hasn’t he caught on?”
“Because, just like you, he’s afraid to take a risk.”
“It would be weird, Cha.”
“No,” the older guitarist smiled, “It would be perfect.”
