Suddenly Live
It occurred to me, while watching this video this morning, that Gackt's stage persona has certainly matured over the years into something spectacular, I could watch this without sound just to study the grace of his movements, of course sound just makes it all better!
His style of movement here reminds me of two very famous dancers in kabuki and kyogen theater, one is Nomura Mansai, best known for starring in the Onmyoji films, and the other, Saotome Taichi, who performed on the Red-White song battle for New Year's in 2008 along with Gackt, but on the women's team, in his role of onnagata.
