Hm... ...do you think this is for Ogata Ken? That was the first person I thought of.

I thought so too, but it was also reported that Sayonara 2 was for Ogata Ken. Not that they both could not be for him, but its interesting to note how much is in english.

It could just as well be that his real dad passed away..? I don't think that'd be in the news anyway, since Gackt's parents always stayed out of publicity and all... Or is that to easy, hm... :'3

That's possible, but I found it a little strange Gackt wouldn't have said ANYTHING about it in his blog or somesuch. Whereas he has written - numerously - about Ogata Ken's death, specifically. At least two or three blog entries I think, mentioned him possibly in others.

That's what I thought as well. As soon as I read the "Goodye Dad" part, I immediately thought of Ogata Ken.
