Today marks 1 month on my real weight loss journey. I weighed myself this morning: 222.0. So that makes it an even 9.2lbs gone! When I weighed myself last month, naked and on an empty stomach, I weighed 231.2. Woop woop! So I guess almost 10 pounds in a month is a good start. Now I just need to kick my butt and really start exercising.
Speaking of which, I didn't really do anything exercise wise this week. I went for my walk on Monday, with G (9170 steps). Then on Tuesday, I went to the grocery stores, and walked around a lot during the day (I'm pretty sure I had about 10 000 steps done, maybe more). Yesterday, I didn't do much, but still manage to get around 4000 steps done. But today, today sucked. I got 2790 steps. That's ridiculous! So I'll get to bed in a few, and get some sleep, because tomorrow, I need to hit the 10000 steps again. It's for prizes and it's a competition, so I should really kick my butt!! Saturday is the Walk for the Cure walk. Too bad (I guess lol) that it's our 1 year anniversary my Huney and I, or else I would've gone and walk all night. I wonder if he'll want to come and join for a little bit. Walking sure hasn't killed anyone.
And lastly, a discovery! As I was looking in the fridge this morning to prepare my lunch, I noticed that no one eats the strawberries! I had already planned on eating blueberries for midday snack, so I didn't have the time to cut the strawberries for my lunch. So when came the time to take my pills, I thought I'd eat some strawberries instead of cheese. So I cut a cup of strawberries, and I tasted one of them. So freakin' sweet! But I didn't want to put sugar on them, because then it would ruin the purpose of the delicious fruit. So I remembered what Nadia had told me about cinnamon and how good it is, because it`s naturally sweet and helps craving. So I took the cinnamon out of the rack, and sprinkled a little bit on a piece of strawberry. It was good, but it was missing something. Then I took the nutmeg out, did the same thing. Still missing something. Then I tried both spices on, and my was it good! The strawberries were still a little bit too sweet/sour for my taste, but the cinnamon and nutmeg helped a lot. And it was a tasty snack. So I put it in my food journal, so I can mention it to Nadia on Monday!
Well, time to hit the sack. Nighty night!!
