"Can I help it if I think you're evil?"
Well, it's been a little while. I've been sorta busy. I've officially started my fifth year of college and the first week of classes is under my belt. Yay! I just have this feeling that things are going to work out for me this year - I am not going to screw up. Classes don't seem too bad, pretty basic, and one of my friends is in 2 of them with me. Do you know how long it's been since I've had a class with one of my good friends? I can tell it'll be a good thing - I don't have to be that quiet girl who doesn't have anyone to talk to.
I'm enjoying my three day weekend so far (almost 4 day since I don't have class until 3:30 on Tuesday!). Slept in, watched City of Angels (which I had never seen - yeah I'm way behind), took a shower, now watching Something Like You (mmm Hugh Jackman...) and that's about it. And I got a new hair dryer last night and it is like the best thing ever. I have my old hair back!!!! This is so exciting because I think I fried my hair a little bit from dying it and straightening it so it's been like wavy and kind of frizzy - blah. And I have had stick straight hair my entire life so it was weird. But now it's all shiny and straight! And yes it's the small things in my life that make me happy :)

What else? Erin and I actually sorta hung out with our random roommate last night. Her name's Holley and she's a little strange. Like she's really shy (but a different shy then I am so it's hard to relate) and it's almost like she doesn't know how to act around people. Like she's afraid of them. I don't know - we watched tv and chatted a little bit, so hopefully she'll come out of her shell a little and we'll be great. I'm trying to be nice to people this year - even people I don't like, so it'll be good.
I guess that's it for now - I need to work on cleaning my room/unpacking/decorating and the like.
