Jacob was been G.R.U.M.P.Y. the past week and I was convinced he was teething. I think this time was worse than the last time. He was waking up around 5:30-6ish every morning and nursing didn't put him back to sleep like it normally does. Then he fought me at nap time and usually didn't go down until after noon and then would only sleep about an hour. Bedtime was also a struggle. Yesterday morning was almost unbearable as he just wouldn't stop screaming. I had to pick up some pictures at Wal-Mart in the afternoon and he fell asleep on the way there. I felt horrible about waking him up when we got there, but he woke up in the best mood ever. He's usually a pretty happy baby, unless he's hungry or needs a diaper change, but seriously, he was beyond happy yesterday. Just smiling and giggling and babbling. The good mood lasted the rest of the day, which was nice because we had dinner plans with some new friends. Jacob was quite the charmer!
This morning he woke up at 6:30 and I was able to nurse him back to sleep and he/we slept until 8:30. Once we were up Brian was playing with him and noticed a little tooth working its way up on the bottom! I knew it! I'm just glad to have my happy baby back. :D
