chillin'
With school out, I have still more free time. I moved out of the dorm on Sunday, and an exchange student friend from there, Ka-ying Chan, is staying at dad's with me for a few days before traveling and heading home to Hong Kong. Me, I've tried to find a job, but it seems to be too hard finding one that will hire any kind of position for only two weeks, and with my leaving on the 31st for South Africa, that's all the time I've got left! No complaints though; I finally know what volunteer work I'll be doing there. Mom found a project which is constructing an obstacle course for a youth recovery place that's kinda like the boy's and girl's club here. Better still my good friend Ravi comes along for the experience and will be staying with us in Cape Town.
Meantime, I'll work on painting the garage for dad to get some cash to pay back mom for my enormous phone bills this school year. Also I'm gonna try to make it down to Urbana a couple times to visit a certain girl I'm seeing, and to check up on my UHS friends.
