So, I always kindof hated One Tree Hill but one of the very few things I really LIKED about it was the Brooke/Peyton friendship. It was one of the best on television and by far the best on the show itself

Nah, Lucas/Peyton were pretty much the reason I watched the show so they ain't getting my ratings any longer :p I enjoyed Brooke's scenes with Peyton but otherwise, meh. As for Nathan, I loved him once upon a time before he lost his balls and got his head stuck so far up Haley's ass that he had absolutely no meaningful interaction with any character other than (sometimes) Lucas). He's still pretty though...
And then there's Haley. I HATED Haley. I loathe holier-than-thou, self-righteous, judgemental, hypocrtical, sugary-sweet-but-actually-bitchy characters. She was so quick to turn her back on friends who stood by her for making the SAME mistake. And yet the show insisted on allowing all other characters to forget this and instead put her on a pedestal and apologise and bow and scrape and make her the "perfect" friend/wife/mother and the centre of attention...it was repulsive.
So frankly, I'm rather glad to be rid of it. The message the show sends young people is appaling too - HEY, it's okay to get married and have kids in highscool. HEY, if you don't want/have a baby by the time you're 23, there's something wrong with you.
Hopefully Hilarie will go on to better things and Chad already has a pretty okay movie career outside OTH. Plus, he's BFF's with Jared and Jensen ;) So he's fiiiiiiiine...
