Note: for rinnus for the thepurpledove charity auction. The prompt was Sam has to save Gabriel - some nice h/c which was very generic and I found myself writing this rather out of the blue. Slightly AU 2014-type future in that Dean said yes and Sam didn't, Cas still has his powers (mostly) and it's not quite 2013.
