Y'all remember the Domestic Spuffy Poll of Sleepytimes? That was fun, wasn't it? Well, we're gonna do the risqué version now with the Domestic Spuffy Poll of Sexytimes. This be an explicit poll of Spuffy porn
( Read more... )
The easiest Spuffy sex for me to imagine is the desperate, "If I'm not inside you in thirty seconds I'll explode" kind. Standing up out of necessity. Probably because of "Smashed" and "Dead Things". May I say I'd never considered what Buffy's, let alone Spike's, pubic hair might look like?
Oh my goodness, this poll is so awkward and also titillating/amusing! I feel very unqualified to answer these questions, and I just learned some new vocab on Google.
1. Everything but piledriver and "other."
2. Yeah right, like I'm going to pick one. Tie between missionary and Buffy-on-top, I'd say. I don't think they need "creative" positions to enjoy themselves.
I was tempted to check BDSM for the kink question, but I don't see that as something they do frequently. I feel like it might bring back bad associations for both of them. When they do do it, though, I'd say they switch off being dom, and it's more light S&M (more emphasis on bondage, spanking, etc. than on humiliation) than heavy-duty BDSM.

I can see that. I didn't want to get into all the sub-kinks of BDSM, so I left it as a catch-all for a wide range of different activities.
I checked it, because Spike is a vampire and I think he does find pain arousing under the right circumstances. However, BDSM covers a huge range of activities and all those activities have a huge range in the intensity at which them may be indulged. You could say that spanking and bondage could fairly be lumped under BDSM instead of getting their own ticky boxes.
I'd say they both think of it as switching, because otherwise Buffy would freak out*, but in effect Buffy's the dom most of the time.
*mostly because she LIKES that they're emotionally equal nowadays and doesn't really want to go back to the "Spike is beneath me" shape of their relationship, although they both enjoy it erotically. Also, okay, sometimes, rarely, Buffy does get subby.
Buffy. Usually. But occasionally they switch. Based on season 6, Spike. Which makes perfect sense, since Buffy is the kind of person who has too much responsibility in life and enjoys giving it up in bed and being able to be submissive sexually because she never is in anything else. And she trusts Spike.
The pic from your icon was a dream scene that was a reversal from what was going on earlier in the episode off-screen (but was heavily hinted at).

Not totally related to the poll, but this seemed like a good place to bring it up. I'm always really amused at the extent of canon we have to fall back on. In fanfic, the sex lives of characters are often described in very heavy detail and usually in the same sort of fashion. Characters A and B have lots and lots of wild, kinky sex for hours at a time and it's awesome. Generally, this has no support from canon. But then we have Spuffy. Who: knock down a house, go for five hours at least once, have sex in public/outdoors three separate times (that we see), miss the bed more than once, make quips about the bed being lucky they missed it, use handcuffs, etc

It can make some of these relatively easy. Unless your happy Spuffy place has them settling down a bit.

And, uh, I'll be in my bunk.

Really? Never? I've thought about Spike's often after seeing Gone. Dude has to trim or at least do his bikini line. *nods*

I bet he shaves/waxes his back, too. And we absolutely know that he does his nails! A bit vain, but ultimately nice. :)
(Also: icon is full of win. Eat the dick rich!!)
