Figures. No man could resist the allure of an exploding space station. Victorian or not, William was very much a guy.

This chapter is all about the "guyness" of William. The more it comes out, the harder Buffy is going to fall, me thinks.

:) I'd seen this chapter as being about the violence in William, but that goes hand-in-hand with guyness. Buffy's gonna have some difficulties later on.

Honestly, this was my favorite chapter to write. The bar scene is inspired partially by my own misadventures while out drinking (though I've never fallen off my barstool).

I love that Xander is trying to be a friend to William. William gets a bit pissed and all the anger he has repressed during his own time comes flying out. Spike was always emotional and cried when angry or hurt. In William we are seeing all the emotions that Spike had. He feels out of place, anger, and the desire to be wanted and loved. Love your story.
