Yeah, yeah. I'm rewatching S5 which means I have a lot of fangirling ahead.

You know, I am in such a feminist rage right now, that reading the sexism explicitly pointed out in satire just made me really mad. I think I'd better watched Buffy now. I'm finally in season 5.

Yay! I love this episode!

Whereas in Aussie Ocker, it'd be:

ETA: Erm, it occurs to me that I should perhaps explain - in authentic outback Aussie, "pommie bastard" is considered an affectionate term for British people, and in no way an insult.

Err... not that Buffy is being affectionate towards Travers. Just - it's not exactly a racial slur, either.

Yep yep. Though I'm also quite fond of Anya's "Willow's a demon?"
