Target is just about through its remodel. Dianne, who works w/ me in softlines and is my rock told me yesterday she is leaving to move to Texas. :( :( :( She keeps me sane and is my buffer to George. She's the only other team lead who understands softlines and now she's leaving. She's a great person and has actually been like my "Target Mom". She helped get me through my training, through the remodel and through the crap w/ Travis and Kayla. I'm so sad to see her go. Kim Arnold from our pricing team is also leaving for Texas. What is it about that state?! I've been there a few times and it's not that cool. I'm not as close to Kim, but I know she does a good job so it sucks to lose a good team lead.
But, on the plus side I think Cassidy is planning on applying for the softlines team lead position. It'll be cool if she gets it! I'll be training her and then we'll be in charge of the same team. She'll help keep me sane and it'll be good to have her to vent to and deal w/ George together. I really hope she comes in and applies and I really hope she gets it.
In other news Kim McCoy went on vacation and while she was home she made some strawberry jam and brought me in a jar of it. I know it's something small, but I was touched that she thought of me. She said she only brought in jars for me and Dawn so...it's nice to be loved. :)
In a total change of subject I was thinking yesterday about Theo and about how he just totally dropped our friendship. I know it's no big loss...but I was looking at his myspace and his friends' myspace and seeing pictures of him being all drunk and I'm just wondering how he can be happy having that kind of life. I know he's not happy so I wonder why he chose that. Not to pat myself on the back, but I was a good friend to him and he just decided he didn't want that. Instead he wanted to be w/ people who are drunk all the time. Oh well, I generally don't understand people for the most part.
Jason is coming over tomorrow and he's bringing his Wii. I've never played one before, so it'll be cool to see what it's like. I haven't been around him for a long time, so I'm going to try to be nice to him. We'll see how it goes. :) Melissa is also coming to Sfield tomorrow so it proves to be a day full of friends.
In the meantime, he's a picture of Theo enjoying his new life....
