Happy Valentine's Day!
Well, my Valentine's Day went well again this year. After the snow storm we had Derek called and asked what time I was getting to J'ville. I tried to tell him I didn't think I could make it due to the snow and he made me feel guilty and called me a pussy so...I got up and dug out my car and did indeed make it to J'ville in time for our reservation. Carly's school got cancelled so he ended up bringing her along with us. That kind of surprised me because Derek normally doesn't really bring Carly around his friends much, but it was cool to have her along. She's so adorable and Derek is twice as adorable being a dad.
After visiting w/ Derek and Carly for awhile I went to Lisa's so she could show me how to care for her dogs this weekend and after catching up and talking a little politics with her and Richey I headed back home. Jon gave me a call to wish me a happy Valentine's Day and invited me out to the Brew so I went out there for a drink and now I'm home and I'm jumping into bed so that I can get about 4 hours of sleep before heading to work. :-/
All in all a good day!
