Drabble/Writing project Day three
Some confusion with a baby sitter, and scrambling to find another one for the PTA meeting I needed to attend tonight took up what was to be my writing time today. All for naught as I didn't find a sitter and had to bring the kids with me.
Anyway, I got a great word from the ol' Random Word generator tonight:
Stag
They had barely gone out when the stray Dementors attacked. A brief argument ensued when James told Lily to evacuate the younger students.
“What kind of Head Girl lets the students go undefended?”
“You go with them, then, Head Boy!”
He naturally lost the argument.
It didn’t turn out to be much of a battle, after the Professors showed up. But it gave him a chance to see Lily’s Patronus. So did the others - who quickly agreed she needed to be told.
When he finally had her alone, he cleared his throat. “Lily, I have something to show you.”
