Slytherins?
Gabi sat alone in the corner of the common room, the fireplace shedding light on the pages of the book she had open in front of her. There was a general murmur of voices throughout the room, but Gabi ignored it as she read.
Her leg bounced restlessly, her fingers tapping against the arm of the chair. She found herself slowly growing uninterested with the book in front of her. Still staring down at the page, Gabi began to hum to herself.
After another minute or two, she finally pulled her eyes up and away from the book. The corner of her mouth turned up in an odd sort of half-smile of greeting when her eyes met someone elses.
