[Private Not Hackable]
So this is Hogwarts, eh? I have some vague memory of this place, almost feels like home. On first glance...this could be fun...or it could not. Doesn't matter, It's better than monster slaying and at least my expertise will go to better use than murdering innocent creatures.

I have to make note to survey the forbidden forest, ( Read more... )

Well, I know, I mean what type. There are more than one type of werewolf, much like there are vampires.

*lecturing, Bob-like tone, is surprised a self professed hunter wouldn't know the different types of werewolves, though he privately suspects that the werewolf 'classes' is only used for catagorization in the United States*

There's 'classical' where you use magic to transform in a way other than animagus. There's Hexenwulf, where an object is cursed and forces a transformation on the owner. There's Lycanthropes, who are born with an innate talent towards communicating with and using werewolf-like strength and senses. Then there's Loup-Garou. Loup-Garou are nasty pieces of work. They're well and truly cursed. They either have to be cursed directly by someone or changed through the bite.

Must be what you are, but just wanted clarification. Though I've never heard of a Loup-Garou who could control the transformation.... *pondering tone*

Hmm? Oh, it's a rock crab. Small, kinda cute little gray things. *doesn't mention that it turns into a hulking, homocidal killing machine when provoked*

I see, never really cared for what type, only how to kill it but it is nice to know. Maybe I am a Loup-Garou, but on the terms of controling. The beast is always lurking in the deep recess of the heart, you just have to learn how to unlock it and release it. Full moons have the power to do it but if you know what activates it, you can unlock it by will. Atleast, that's how I've come to understand it...

And I will have to decline the crab, knowing my luck Odin will end up killing it thinking it was food or a toy so I think for the crab's sake I shouldn't take one.

*shrug* I usually don't either, but my teacher, Bob -you'll probably meet him eventually- taught me to always be thorough. *listens with half an ear, nods, already knew it was possible with other types, had just never witnessed a Garou who could accomplish it.

*frustrated, mutters under his breath* I'd be glad if it got eaten.

It takes a lot of energy to do...and I'm usually drained afterwards, so I only do it in extreme cases.

What did you say?
