Random thoughts about Halloween
"Undeadjournal"... ._.
What's funny is that I would have totally forgotten Halloween if I hadn't seen Livejournal going on Halloween mood, along with my f-list. (and also if I didn't go to the baker-pastry shop, they tried to put some little decoration, but they were the only ones). Actually, it has been 2 or 3 years that french people don't really care about Halloween.
I read somewhere that some people tried to introduce Halloween in France ten years ago. Even though it worked at the beginning, it ended up failing. Now almost everybody seems to forget this event, like me.
This is mainly because people consider it's an American event (although it's actually Anglo-American), it's too commercial, and as for the "trick or treat" thing, now parents are too marked by too many kidnapping cases these last years...
It's kinda strange, in one hand, around you, in real life, nobody cares about it, talks about it, and on the other hand, through that little screen (my laptop), there are tons of people who are eager to celebrate it.

Wow 6 days before the US elections. ...This is the first time I've followed US President elections (last time I was too young ^^;), I'm starting to feel excited, even though this is not my country (actually, since a part of my family lives here, that isn't like I wasn't concerned at all...and this is the USA after all! I have to care about it. I hope the world will change). It seems obvious that Obama will win, but the media keeps repeating that polls may be wrong about the outcome, so I'm really looking forward the results. °__°
PS : Correct my sentences, if possible (I feel some of them are gramatically wrong, but don't know how to correct it)
