I think that maybe I hoped too hard that she would forgive me. That'll teach me. At least Alice didn't want us to leave. Not that I'm even sure that Alice knows what's happening most of the time.
Ariel is upset, and I don't know how to make him feel better. All he thinks is that I forced him to leave everyone. I wish I could make him understand that just by being around we can get people hurt, that we can get Regan hurt again.
Bernard, Shamus and Jorhmun passed us in the truck while we were walking away from the house. I thought that at least one of them would have gotten out and came after us, but apparently not. I hope that they're taking care of the rest at least.
I don't know where we will go tonight, but I do know that I wont be sleeping. We've been walking for a while and I haven't seen any sign of other people so far. Ariel will tire himself out pretty soon, but I'll need to keep watch over him, so I'll need to find somewhere soon. I see a thicket a bit further down the road, maybe that will be a good place to stay.
