I have no problem with high school kids showing a valiant attempt to make their voices heard....
however i think its fucking dumb when 65% of the kids don't know jack shit about what they are protesting against....
"I'm out here to fight because I think its wrong that they want to send all the latinos back to mexico"
anyone who really wants to protest and fight the Sessenbrenner bill should at least take the time to educate themselves on what it is they are doing.
and its embarrasing to anyone latino when they prove this shit by looking like idiots throwing gang signs for the news cameras.
Senate has already passed a new reform on HR 4437 which pretty much is an answer that they know we won't let this slide
no it is not over
no it is not perfect
but we are winning this fight against a cruel injustice.
like I said, fight for what you think is right, but kids running in front of moving cars, picking fights with cops, and jumping in fountains just because they think its a cool way to get out of class, is an embarrasment and a shame on the very thing you are trying to accomplish.
