As promised, we're gearing up for a second round of the GBB. Sign-ups are starting in just about two weeks, guys, so get ready! \o/ Here's some information for you so you can start planning out what you want to write. :D

Is there going to be a separate post to submit being a beta?

Oh yes! There will be a sign-up post specifically for support people - alphas, betas, and cheerleaders - and authors/artists can use that post to scroll through and see who best fits what they're looking for.

Here is a lengthy question for you: is it all right if we impose our own theology on the Supernatural verse/angels? Not like a crossover, just like, slightly AU characteristics of Angels in general. Would that be all right?

Oh, that's definitely fine! As long as the characters are still recognizable, it's safe to plop them in any type of setting you want, including one where angels aren't quite the way Supernatural makes them out to be. ;)

Out of curiosity, why aren't you allowing crossovers this time around?

In a couple of cases, we ended up having a lot of trouble with art for the crossover fics, and it's just not a hassel we feel equipped to deal with this time around. I know it won't be the most popular decision, but after weighing the pros and cons, it just made the most sense.

If you're really set on writing a crossover fic though, sncross_bigbang is another challenge the runs annually, and is specifically designed for Supernatural crossovers. :)

I did sncross_bigbang this year, and this challenge, and crossoverbigbang.

I guess I understand, though my artist didn't seem to have a problem. The only reason I signed up for this last year was the allowance of crossovers.

I guess I'll write the crossover story I was planning and already have started and post it off-comm instead. Shame, I had a great time last year.
