I was talking to a friend of mine around here at the chow hall and remembered my hypothesis from my psychology class in college which led me to remember about my other theory which is the subject of todays ranting. I'm not sure exactly where I put the two together but I thought of the random phenomona of supposed reporting of people with telekinesis and telepathy. Its been said that people only use about 10 percent of their brain power. Why do you think this is? Storage space mostly but that made me think of these other people with the alleged mind powers. Are these the people that use more than the 10 percent of their brain? Is it linked and if so exactly how much of their brain has to be used in order to do this. The mind is a powerful tool no doubt and I sometimes wonder if it actually is possible for the mind itself to affect things on the physical plane.
Also what made me wonder is how much of the brain is left over from the knowledge we store in it? I thought to myself how much of a trade off would you be willing to accept if you were actually able to mentally affect the physical plane for the sacrifice of a certain amount of your ability to recount information. I haven't the slightest idea of how you could apply the Scientific Method to this theory let alone how you would even state your hypothesis in full let alone account for vectors and your control group. Feel free to voice your thoughts as this kind of plays over my head every once in awhile when I actually get right down to thinking about it.
