Update and my thoughts on the GoF Film
Your drabble requests should be done within the next few days. I've just got to finish a few earlier ones I promised soldurios in return for some icons... but meanwhile, here's what I thought of the GoF movie. On the whole, I liked it a lot. Some things I thought were amazing, but there were a few things I was a teensy bit disappointed with. I'll list them under LJ cut below in case anyone doesn't want to be "spoiled".
LUCIUS IS BACK!!! WOOHOO! And looking better than ever. Fic is imminent, oh yes.
MOODY! Just delightful, and pretty much how I imagined him. The eye was a little different than I thought it would be, but he was PERFECT. The Moodyslash plotbunnies are coming thick and fast!
VOLDEMORT! Just... GUH. He rocks my socks.
Madame Maxime - regal and magnificent. Pity she didn't fly into any towering rages - that would have been something to see, all right.
Karkaroff and Crouch Junior - delightfully nasty pieces of work, the both of them. I really need to do fic featuring those guys. Seriously.
Draco as Ferret Boy - LOL! And it was an albino ferret he turned into, too - I just adore albino animals! And he's such a Daddy's Boy, I swear. :D
The Hungarian Horntail - I want one!!! *glomps it*
Walden Macnair actually got a mention, although a brief one!
Crouch Senior was portrayed far too sympathetically. I prefer him ultra-nasty.
No Ludo Bagman at all! I like that guy. *grrrrs*
Too much of the sugary romantic stuff.
Some important plot points were left out - I'm not sure if the fifth film will make sense without them.
Fleur and Gabrielle were no longer part Veela, and therefore were brownish-blonde instead of white-blonde. I WANT MY PLATINUM BLONDENESS, DARN IT!!! Surely the Malfoys can't be the only people in the movie-verse with platinum hair???
But on the whole - yes, I liked the movie.
