That was an AWESOME game. Both teams were really really good and played hard. I wish more Super Bowls featured such solid playing on both sides of the ball. And while I honestly would have been happy for either team, there's an extra bit of happy for the Saints to score their very first Super Bowl win, especially since New Orleans is still so far from completely recovered from Katrina. Good for them. And that fourth quarter interception was perfectly done.
The commercials, however, were- Well, Wil Wheaton said it beautifully on Twitter, so let's just quote him: "So far, the commercials mostly seem 1) Bland and unimaginative 2) Emasculating 3) Misogynistic 4) All of the above." (He later tweeted this gem: "Anne: Would you let the dog outside? Me: FINE! BUT I'M BUYING A DODGE! Anne: ...what? Me: Oh. Sorry. You haven't been watching the game." Wil Wheaton is currently my hero.)
