(no subject)
The brunch went better than I'd expected, which is good. It was moderately boring but not appalling, and there were no forced games. I'm going to call that a win. Two of the other guests were licensed massage therapists and one of them brought her chair and gave everyone brief massages, which I at first considered so much manna from heaven but now rue, because apparently my muscles are in terrible condition and need a whole lot more work than that. The massage itself was good, but after a couple of hours my back hurt way worse than before. After some lying on hard surfaces and taking some ibuprofen, I'm functional again, but ah, my poor back. :p I also got about three hours of sleep last night and am about ready to crash. I'd hoped to get something productive done today, but it doesn't look very likely. Maybe tomorrow.
