so yea, its thursday

It thursday already, I can hardly believe how fast this week is going by. Things are about the same as usual, some people are cool, some aren't and the election is just making it all worse. I'm beginning to really wish I was one of those people that just didn't care about anything. Don't care about what I do. what other people do or think, or anything. I got a letter from URI the other day saying that they have processed my application for Monash, now I just have to wait for AustraLearn's response. I really hope I get in. The more I stay around here the more I realize I need to get away, from people, school and just my life here in general. And the more I think about it, I realize just who I am going to miss and who I'm not. Maybe that sounds harsh, but it just reminds me of high school, how there are people who are really your friends, then there is that other group of people that you call your friends... but they aren't really. I remember how in my senior year at Mount lit, Meg and I would talk about cutting dead weight... our nic name for those people we called friends, but weren't really friends with mostly because they brought us down a lot. I should cut my dead weight, where my scissors at?! Oh yea, Pat needs a haircut hardcore, he has the whole white man's afro going on... and he isn't working it (that may be cruel sounding, but it is true nonetheless).

I'm kinda looking forward to this weekend, hope things go well and that everyone has fun. I'm not as giddy about it as I thought I would be, maybe I'm just tired.
