while cleaning the bathtub
yep, that's right the bathtub, (something, I will add with a slight 'ugh' factor - that I should have done that weeks ago), I heard the rift of the song playing in my room, and thought it sounded familiar.
Walking in, I recognized it as the song playing at the final scene in the season finale of Veronica Mars. I recalled thinking it was a good sound, but never bothered to look it up.
Yep that's the song, it's a cover by Granvernhurst of The Kink's See my Friends Even more amusing is that this is a free CD I got from stripped magazine. I think I love Mojo. I've taken 4 of their CD's home, and all of them are excellent.
Never gave much thought to The Kinks, always panned them as a British Invasion/Bubble Gum Pop Rock, (come on, they wrote All day and All of the Night but maybe it's worth checking out their later albums. You know the ones they wrote after they started taking drugs? (not that I know this for sure.. but I'm guessing here)
