(no subject)
perhaps it's the wine talking or maybe i've never felt so alone in my life. this is the first time i have spent christmas eve alone and it's been none the funner. toasting yourself to cold pizza and a half bottle of white zinfandel speaks pure class. someone came by to drop something off for my parents and asked "why aren't you out partying tonight?". as quick as i am with witty comments on the regular, the audible "huh?" was the best i could come up with.
there are no presents with my name on them. no tree. no lights. everything i wanted this year i have already bought for myself.
