A YEAR-END SURVEY
1.) Where did you ring in 2006?
At Maggie and Pat's party with Greer!
2.) What was your status by Valentine's Day?
Happily engaged...
3.) Were you in school (anytime this year)?
No, unfortunately...
4.) How did you earn your keep?
My job... booking European trains.
5.) Did you ever have to go to the hospital?
I came close, but I didn't.
6.) Have you ever encountered the police?
mmmm, not really
7.) Where did you go on vacation?
I went to Mexico to see my grandpa after his stroke, then I took some time off for my wedding, then we went to California for my birthday.
8.) What did you purchase that was over $500?
Lots of things cost us major money this year, a couple of car repairs, dental work, you name it...
9.) Did you know anybody who got married?
MEEEEE!!!! (and David of course!)
10.) Did you know anybody who passed away?
Not personally, but I have heard of some friends' family members passing on. It's sad.
11.) Have you run into anybody you graduated high school with?
through the internet yes!
12.) Did you move anywhere?
No, that will be coming in 2007 though... Moving to the 'burbs!
13.) What sporting events did you go to?
None...
14.) What concerts did you go to?
Sonic Youth, Meat Beat Manifesto, Thanatos & we saw Crispin Glover's show... which was better than a concert in some aspects!
15) Are you registered to vote?
That is affirmative ghostrider...
16) Did you do your patriotic duty Nov. 7th?
Sure did!
17.) Where do you live now?
Southside of Chicago
18.) Describe your birthday:
David and I share our bithdays in October, so we flew to California to elebrate it with our other Libra family members (Carl, Andy & Owen)... It was a fantastic week long celebration!
19.) What's the one thing you thought you would never do this year but did in 2006?
mmmm, somehow we managed to put some money into savings this year despite all the extra expenses we had.... I am happy that our nest egg is getting healthier by the paycheck!
20.) What is one thing you regretted this year?
Not that it was in my control, but I regretted being so sick all the time this year... I had a hard time enjoying myself a lot of the time in 2006. But next year will be different!
21.) What's something you learned about yourself?
I love to share myself with people, especially David. It's really nice to come home to him and talk to him about the trivialities of my day. I think I was born to be his wife and he was born to be my husband.
22.) Any new additions to your family?
mmmm, not yet....
23.) What was your best month?
June and October
24.) What from pop culture will you remember 2006 by?
I try not to follow pop culture.... unless it involves Johnny Depp!
25.) How would you rate this year with a scale from 1 (horrible) to 10 (excellent)?
A solid 6, and it would've been lower if it weren't for my awesome wedding!
