36. Lance ~ At work, finishing my second cup and making reservations to fly to Australia.
37. Mara:: i was actually in bed skipping school that day when my ex calls me to tell me to make sure I was alright and to tell me to turn on the tv
38. Tasha - It was a few weeks into my freshmen year of college. I went into the computer lab to play Yahoo Pool during one of my breaks and everyone kept talking about planes crashing into the WTC. I then checked the photos online and was shocked/amazed. I remember everything about that day. :-(
39. Kristi ~ I had just got out of the shower and the phone rang. My friend Tracie asked if I had the TV on... I didn't, so I turned it on, just in time to see the 2nd plane hit the WTC towers. I was in total shock, and I knew that it would be a crazy day at work since I worked in the media. That was probably my craziest day ever at work!
40. Kristen - I had the day off from work and woke up to my mom yelling at me to come downstairs because a plane had crashed into the WTC. I got up and ran down the stairs just in time to see another plane hit the 2nd tower. That day and the days following, my family spent countless hours trying to find out if my cousin Patty (Patricia M. Fagan) was safe. She and my friend James Cartier, unfortunately, were not. RIP

41. Anissa - I had woken up early that morning, and for some reason couldn't sleep. I kept tossing and turning, and felt something telling me that I needed to pray. Without question, I started praying for everyone I knew. I always pray for our president and our country when I pray, but for some reason, on this particular morning, I felt I needed to concentrate on that. So for an hour I prayed about our country and focused my energy and prayer on that. I noted the time and fell asleep. When I woke up, my radio alarm was on and they were talking about the crash in Penn. I turned on the TV and saw the 2nd plane hit the Trade Center. I had realized that I had been praying up until the first plane hit TWC, and fell asleep right after. I knew God had me praying for a reason, and I'll never forget it.

42. Kelley - I had just arrived at work and was the first one there. My boss and also another girl that worked outside the office called to ask if I had heard what happened and I was just listening to it on the radio right then. My boss told me to go and get the little black and white tv we had in the supply closet and plug it in. 12 of us hovered around this tiny like 10 inch tv for hours just watching everything happening. We ended up going home early from work and I watched the coverage all day long. What a sad, sad day!

43. Brooke~ I was in class. A human relations class to be exact. Anyways, after class was over I decided not to go to my technical math class so I left the bulding. That's when I got the phone call from Melissa Velotta telling me what had happened. (I just got chills). Anyways needless to say they shut down campus for the rest of the day and I had to go to work at the day care. We weren't allowed to listen to the radio coverage or anything from there!!!! It was extremem chaos. People were calling from there cell phones all day to check on loved ones and I think by like 1:00 almost ALL the kids had been picked up from the daycare.

44. Amy- I was sleeping and the telephone rang. It was my brother. When I answered he said "Amy the world is comming to an end" Of course knowing my brother and how many times he calls and just says random things I hung up on him after sayin " David shut up" The phone rang again and it again was my brother. He told me "Amy I am not kidding, go turn on your tv. Someone just destroyed the twin towers in New York. I leaned over to get my remote and just cried. Images that will never leave my mind and a day I never want any one to relive.
