It came! ;_;
I was hoping to ignore it, but the advert for the Dragonball movie came on tv this morning. Even though it's out in April here! But, I won't complain anymore, cos it's not like someone's gonna force me to go watch it.
Instead, we wait for the day when Japan makes their own live action version. Of course, I think Dragonball is one of those shows that should stay as manga/anime but if someone could do it right....! There have been a lot of manga-to-live action adaptations recently, and they've been pretty good. I guess a deciding factor on whether or not this could actually happen is how well the 20th Century Boys trilogy does. The scale of that movie is just mind-boggling, so if that can work, maybe!
He'll probably be too old by the time they decide to make one, but I think Hamada Gaku would make an awesome Krillin. XD
In more anime related news, the voice actresses for both Ed and Al will reprise their roles in the new FMA series! I haven't heard anything about the rest of the cast, but all signs seem to point to a remake. Cowboy Bebop is still going ahead, and according to IMDB, it's coming out in 2011.
All this just makes me appreciate that Oda made One Piece so whacky, it can never be made into a live action movie.
