And now, Korra!

Episode 3 was brilliant! It really does seem like this show is gonna be all killer, no filler.

Cut for spoilers! )

THE SOKKA ONE! I JUST BUSTED OUT LAUGHING! Korra is totally the soul-child of Sokka. Totes.

AND THE MUSIC!

And Amon! He'd take down Ozai any day. Maybe he's Ty Lee's son. Maybe he's the lovechild of Aang and Ty Lee. Or something crazy. I have no clue. I luuuurv not knowing. But he is totally not scarred at all. MAYBE HE'S ZUKO'S MOMMY!

OH OH OH, maybe water benders that are doctors can blood bend too! Because if lightning bending AND metal bending are so integrated, blood bending must be too. So maybe Amon's thing is some secret, in-the-blood air-bending evilness that blocks off bending for such long periods of time that benders think they cannot bend at all. (So reapplications of anti-bending would be needed. So if Korra got zapped, if she could connect to her Avatar-state, she could undo the damage.

So many ideas. OH MAN WE MUST SQUEE TOGETHER. What time do you think you'll want to watch the show this weekend?

Yep, I feel we're gonna get the Sokka-esque snark more from Korra than Bolin. XD It's great not knowing stuff, cos then we'll really be surprised. We've skipped over 70 years of history, so there's no way for us to even take a guess at who Amon might be. That's a good point!

Sunday is probably the best time for me! Maybe early evening?

Tumblr's the best place for gifs of all kinds! (Awww, Ten! ♥)

Yeah, most of the gifs I do have saved on my computer are Ten gifs. That or Daria ones. They make me happy.

Arg, LJ ate my comment! Let's try again!

Tennant's so gifable! ♥ I have waaay too many gifs at the moment, and that's not even counting the ones I make for myself. I really wanna gif Korra, YJ and the new Spider-Man cartoon but the Indian drama serial is taking up my gif time. XD It comes on weekdaily so there's always at least 3 THATS A GIF moments in each episode. Like so:

Yep, that's exactly the right show. And my Mom has a little penguin toy (it's really mine) that she takes when she teaches elementary students so once she saw that she got all starry eyed and "We're so perfect together." Honestly, my mom might just leave my dad for a one night snog with Tennant. ::shakes head::

American quiz shows suck and we definitely don't have Indian dramas coming on TV. I'm just super psyched that Hulu has Korean shows. Maybe I should look for Indian ones. Thing is, the Hulu subs SUCK. Oh, and I suck at watching TV shows consistently. I'd rather binge all at once.

Haha, aww! My friend's a teacher and she showed the kids those episodes on the PC for storytime. XD

We don't get American quiz shows anymore, but I think we used to get Family Feud on TV when I was a kid. We've got a large South Asian population in the UK so we've got a lot of Indian channels, but only on satellite TV. It's cool cos the one I watch comes with English subtitles! They usually last about 2 years, but they have hundreds of episodes. I had a week off so I powered through all the ones I missed. XD It was about 130 episodes, but I skipped through all the boring stuff. I'm a little bit obsessed with it at the minute, I haven't gotten this giddy over a romance show since I was a teenager. XD I will admit, as much as I love the female lead, it does have more to do with this guy. XD

Our satellite shows are largely Spanish just because of the humongous Spanish-speaking population here. But Virginia has a vibrant Muslim community so I've channel surfed past some interesting Arabic stuff (no subs). Considering the over-acting I now put up with in doramas, I wonder if I'd find telenovelas more tolerable.

Oh yeah, the art house theatre is having a summer long Studio Ghibli festival with lots of stuff never dubbed here in the US. SO EXCITED! But I wish the mainstream stuff was also available with Japanese subs. I love me some Batman as Howl but Spirited Away just works better in Japanese.

Aww, that's lucky! We have the one Arabic channel, but it's Dubai TV. All the interesting stuff comes on MBC, we used to have that but they cut it off. Not that I'd be able to understand it, but I always like to try and guess what's going on! XD I've never seen a telenovela, I'd love to see one.

Ooooh, cool! :D That's a shame, I thought Disney had released most of the Ghibli stuff both subbed and dubbed. I know there's one they didn't release, Only Yesterday, cos they talk about periods in the film. I think Disney didn't want to get yelled at for CORRUPTING THE YOUTH but here it's distributed by a random film company so we got it, subbed only. Ahh, Japanese Howl is Kimura Takuya! ♥ There's only a few Ghibli that work either way, I don't mind watching Totoro subbed or dubbed. If they're playing Whispers of the Heart, you must see it! I love that one soooo much!
