And now, TV stuff!
I know I've been going on and on (x infinity) about Young Justice, but I love it. XD It's on hiatus now until after Xmas I think. :( I think it's because I was expecting it to be enjoyable (like the new Thundercats) or good if you like comics (like Avengers: EMH) but it's on a level that's equal to Avatar and probably the original Batman animated series. If it keeps up the way it has been going, I'll probably love it more than Justice League. (Which I never thought would be possible, if for Rosenbaum!Flash alone XD) It's an amazing show, better than most primetime live action shows at the moment. I will admit that some characters may not sit well with everyone, but I do think that there's an undeserved level of hate towards M'gann. Is that the usual female character gets hate cos she's not all moody and dark? I dunno. Apparently a lot of people don't like the way she behaves or her "annoying" catchphrase, but it's very obviously hinted at in the show as to why she speaks and behaves that way. Robin does his whole aster thing, no-one complains about that! Besides, they're teenagers! Fandom, half of you are 90s kids, you can't tell me that we didn't have weird catchphrases too. ("Da bomb" comes to mind. :P) With the shipping already done and dusted (I didn't know Artemis/Kid Flash was known as Spitfire XD), it's kinda sad that Aqualad's been left out! Maybe he's not over Tula yet. Haha, it'll be very interesting to see where this Robin and Zatanna thing will go! :D Superman's not any less douchey, Roy's still angry and Captain Marvel is the sweetest thing ever! He's only about 10 years old, so to see this man walking around and acting like a kid, and everyone not getting why he's like that is so funny! BUT THE MOLE THING IS DRIVING ME NUTS, COS NO-ONE HAS FIGURED IT OUT YET! *shakes fist* That's good, but still!
Thundercats is okay at the moment, I am a few episodes behind but I think it had its season finale last night? They're taking their time to build up the story, so it seems a little slow, but this one is more for the kids so it needs to be fleshed out a lot. It can't be all EPIC FIGHTING every week. So for me, I enjoy watching this one in batches rather than week by week.
Regular Show is the awesomest thing I didn't know existed. XD I'm behind on the new episodes, and on paper it's a show I wouldn't enjoy, but it makes me laugh so hard every episode.
I have given up watching Glee, Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. I'm too old to watch shows every week and be annoyed/offended when it finishes. Everyone has become unlikable or on their way in the two doctor shows and I feel like I'm over Glee. It's not the same as when it started out, and the double standards in the show may mirror how people behave in real life but I watch TV to escape real life crap people. XD As much as I like Mike Chang, I'm not gonna watch 45 minutes of annoyance for 3 minutes of cute (if that). But then I think, I'm not really the target audience for this show, so should I be getting this annoyed? XD It's sad that shows like Community are in danger of being cancelled but Glee will still be on the air by the time I have kids. XD
Chuck and Bones kicked off late, but I am gonna miss Chuck when it finishes. At least it will have a proper ending (PUSHING DAISIES ;_;). Although I do feel like they're gonna kill off Chuck! Bones being preggers is so fun to watch. Booth seems a lot more excited about it, but I think that's down to their different personalities. I guess the new Southern Squintern is to replace Vincent? (;_; VINCENT!!)
Community has been awesome! It took a couple of eps to get there but ever since the multiple timelines episode, it's been on point. I do wish they'd develop Shirley more. She's so hilarious and the actress that plays her is so funny, it seems like they don't know what to do with her half the time.
Dean: What's another word for...happy-threatening?

XD I cried at this part! I do find myself disliking Jeff and Annie, separately and together. Annie annoys me, but I forget half the time that she's supposed to be young. Everyone says Britta's the worst, but I think that falls to Annie half the time. (Maybe that's supposed to be the joke?) Britta's just not very self aware. XD Jeff's a jerk but he's supposed to be. It's very interesting that in the timeline ep, the timeline where Jeff leaves is where everyone was happy but the timeline where Troy leaves is where everything went wrong. I wonder if they're setting him up to be the anti-Jeff....?
I started watching Castle after seeing a few episodes on TV randomly, and I love it. Kinda like a gender reversed Murder She Wrote, with a bit of Bones thrown in there. It's more comedy than drama, but it definitely has the drama. And the chemistry between the two leads is INSANE.

And I can't say how much I love Beckett, probably my favourite female character on US TV now. She's a strong woman, but not all RAWR I HATE EVERYTHING. She's tough but girly (and the girly isn't seen as a bad thing). I like that her colleagues respect her because of what an awesome detective she is (not an awesome detective for a woman) but they still notice from time to time that she's hot. XD I also love that we get to see why everyone thinks she's so awesome, rather than it being told to us by every character and guest character. I also love that Castle is not only okay with the fact that she's tougher and smarter than he is but it's what he loves about her! He also knows that there are things that he's better than her at so they can be on an equal playing field at times. None of this, I'm the guy so I gotta be better than you at stuff. (That's probably why I like the Sarah and Chuck pairing too) So yeah, awesome show, fills my happy quota for the week when it's on. :)
Well people, I think that's everything! Except of course the granddaddy of all squee posts for One Piece. I'm at the flashback episodes now, so yeah, I'm sad and shocked and all the emotions. ;_; ODA!!! Once I've finished the flashback eps (just started them) I'll post incoherently.
