Live action...Ranma?
Ranma's getting a live action special in Japan around Christmas time.
I wonder how they're going to do the panda transformation. XD To be honest, it's Genma and Soun I'm looking forward to most. Soun's casting is just inspired! It's an original story, so no complaining about stuff being changed! I am a little surprised that Akane's going to be the main focus, but there were some parts of the anime where she felt more like the main character. It might be why they cast Aragaki Yui to play her. I'm not sure where they were going with that. XD I have no problem with her, she fits well into the roles she plays, but unless they're toning Akane down a lot, she's not really a good fit. I'd love for her to surprise me, but she's very meek by nature, I can't imagine her being Akane. To give an example, I like Nino a lot as an actor (not that they're on the same level acting wise, he's very very good) but I could never imagine him playing a character like Roronoa Zoro.
